    Requirements: A plain text (.txt) file Character names must appear in ALL CAPS before their dialogue Dialogue can follow on the same line after a colon, or on the next line Format example: Steps: Click Import Script on the Dashboard Select the TXT tab Click to upload your .txt file Click Import — characters are detected automatically Tips:Few readers
  • Importing with Voice Dictation
    Voice Dictation lets you speak your script aloud, then imports the transcribed text as a script. Steps: Click Import Script on the Dashboard Select the Dictation tab Click Start Recording and speak your lines naturally — you can record the entire script in one take Click Stop when finished — the transcript appears in the text box Before importing: go through the transcript and capitalise all character names in ALL CAPS (e.g. change "Romeo:" to "ROMEO:") — tFew readers
  • Importing with Camera Scan
    Camera Scan uses your device's camera and OCR (optical character recognition) to read printed pages — useful for physical scripts, books, or scanned PDFs. Steps: Click Import Script on the Dashboard Select the Camera tab On mobile: your back camera opens automatically. On desktop: you can upload an image file. Hold your phone directly over the page — keep it flat and avoid angles Use good, even lighting — avoid shadows across the text Tap to capture, then click ImFew readers
  • How to Import a Script
    There are four ways to bring a script into Audition Partner. Open the Dashboard and click Import Script to get started. Choose the method that works best for your script:Few readers
  • Importing a PDF
    Requirements: A text-based PDF — one where you can click and select text If your PDF is a scanned image, use Camera Scan instead Max file size: 512 KB Standard screenplay format works best (ALL CAPS character names) Steps: Click Import Script on the Dashboard Select the PDF tab Upload your PDF file Click Import Not working? If your PDF imports but characters aren't detected, the PDF may be using non-standard formatting.
