Importing with Voice Dictation

Voice Dictation lets you speak your script aloud, then imports the transcribed text as a script.

Steps:

1. Click Import Script on the Dashboard
2. Select the Dictation tab
3. Click Start Recording and speak your lines naturally — you can record the entire script in one take
4. Click Stop when finished — the transcript appears in the text box
5. Before importing: go through the transcript and capitalise all character names in ALL CAPS (e.g. change "Romeo:" to "ROMEO:") — this is how the app distinguishes names from dialogue
6. Edit anything else that needs correcting, then click Import

Tips:

• Speak naturally — you don't need to change how you speak for character names
• Hit Record More to add another take, then edit before importing
• You can also type or paste text directly into the transcript box without recording
