Importing with Camera Scan

Camera Scan uses your device's camera and OCR (optical character recognition) to read printed pages — useful for physical scripts, books, or scanned PDFs.

Steps:

1. Click Import Script on the Dashboard
2. Select the Camera tab
3. On mobile: your back camera opens automatically. On desktop: you can upload an image file.
4. Hold your phone directly over the page — keep it flat and avoid angles
5. Use good, even lighting — avoid shadows across the text
6. Tap to capture, then click Import

Notes:

• Scanning takes 15–30 seconds — please wait for it to complete
• ALL CAPS character names are detected automatically from the scan
• This method works well for scanned or image-based PDFs too
• Cleaner, higher-contrast images produce better results
