Importing a PDF

Requirements:

• A text-based PDF — one where you can click and select text
• If your PDF is a scanned image, use Camera Scan instead
• Max file size: 512 KB
• Standard screenplay format works best (ALL CAPS character names)

Steps:

1. Click Import Script on the Dashboard
2. Select the PDF tab
3. Upload your PDF file
4. Click Import

Not working? If your PDF imports but characters aren't detected, the PDF may be using non-standard formatting. Try copying the text from the PDF manually and using the TXT import instead.
