How Rehearsal Mode Works

Rehearsal mode is the core of Audition Partner. The AI reads your scene partner's lines aloud, and you speak your own lines in response — just like rehearsing with a real person.

The basics:

• Your lines are shown greyed out — these are yours to speak
• The AI reads all other characters' lines using the voices you assigned
• Press Continue (or the spacebar) to move to the next line after the AI reads
• Use the Loop button to repeat a section as many times as you need

Controls:

• Play / Pause — start or stop the AI reading
• Back / Forward — navigate between lines
• Loop — set a start and end point to repeat a section
• Speed — adjust how fast the AI reads (0.75×, 1×, 1.25×, 1.5×)

Text display: Use the Aa button in the header to change:

• Font size — Small, Medium, Large, XL, XXL
• Font style — Sans-serif, Serif, Monospace, Playfair, Lora
